Heatless Helium

An Original by me

Heatless Helium

The aubade glistened
The whirlwind blew
The green grew,
Its glow came alive

In the silent lull
it flys
With rainbow tides
Into the blue yonder
and finds retreat
In nothing but the heat

Naturally, one day
the hellium was no more
and so
it fell to the ground
and never gained back its bounce

If only it could rise again
maybe it wouldn't weep
knowing that it will never fly again
never, not even in the heat
