Arcade Fire in Montreal

So I was just sitting here
Pondering, contemplating
Well no not pondering anything
I've been actually bored the whole day
So bored that even staring at the ceiling seems fun
Which to a certain extent is
Any who
I realized I havn't been posting anything
In say a month?
Well anything productive that is
Nothing about my day
About school
Nothing
And I though well I really should blog
And then I thought I have nothing to blog about
Which is problably the biggest understatement I've ever made
It took me litterally and hour to remember
Well last Thursday Me and Bianca went to that free Arcade Fire showing
Yes that one
Kajol went to it at a different time, different place

Now this was actually a pretty big deal
I mean seriously?
Its fucking Arcade Fire

It was actually the first concert Ive ever been too
Trying not to make this too dramatic
Its kind of ridiculous
Considering I love music
I just never get out

So anyways
Im pretty sure any huge time Arcade Fire fan would know about this particular concert
But I'll explain anyways
So basically theres a pop festivale in Montreal every year (theres also a jazz fest as well)
And since Arcade Fire came from Montreal
Or at least the band formed here
they decided to put on a free show on Thursday at 9 pm at the pop festivale
And well it was a fucking big deal

Me and Bianca went together
And I really did not get any really good picture
Just shit ones
I do have a video though
that I'll post

They were expecting like 80 000 people there
And there was literally more than 100 000
Im not even joking
We could barely see anything
It was crazy

And they had this really bad band come on before them
Because we thought it started at 8 but it didn't
So we had to wait like 2 hours for them to come on

But it was actually really cool
Minus all the crackheads, drunks and people that wouldn't shut up
It was cool

And we were seriously the only people of our age group there
Everyone was at least 18 and over
Which was still cool

But you know just seeing all those people there
People that know Arcade Fire, and listen to that music and love that music
Was well different...
Almost like shocking
I mean I knew there was people somewhere in the world that liked the same kind of music we like
I've just never met anyoe who does, except us of course
I mean everyone we know at our school and shit
all like the same crap
That stupid trash they hear on the radio
But seeing all those people was kind nice
Knowing there are people
I mean not our age of course
Were one of a kind

Like I said trying not to sound to dramatic

You cant even see how many people there are

But it stretches way past

And even goes until the next few streets

And this was like an hour before it started

I got a cup!

Ahaha

We ended up changing spots
It got way to crowded where we were

I never felt so short in my life

You see this is one of the reasons why I love Montrel
Because you  have the Biggest indie band that comes from Montreal
And like loves us and worships us
And does free concerts for us
And always talks about montreal

And they won a grammy
Which they seriously deserved!
I mean if you listened to theyre songs
its not just the song
Its the music in the background
And the words
And how the music is so well put together with the words

I was just lacking a name for it

I was sapposed to post this a while ago (a while or awhile? which one is it??)
Actually not that long ago
It just feels like ages
Like the whole past 3 days

Anyways
We like to shop
And get around
We get lost all the time
And my feet bleed by the time im home
How lovely

We went to another side walk sale
It was the same place with those cool thrift stores!

They had tons of places to eat

And since everything was out on the side walk it was easier to see what kind of food each place had

So we found this Chinese place

And it was suuuuppperrr cheap

Mine (center) cost only 2 bucks

It doesnt look like a lot but it was more than enough!

And it was vegetarian too

Also the first time Ive tried chinese

Weird isnt it?

Gotta have frozen yogurt

I loooooove mood rings

I discovered a whole bunch of them in my old jewelery box

Sunglasses for a dollar

I love my moccasins

So hardcore

Sooo I got these super amazing fucking awesome sunglasses

They were just sitting in a bin

And they just happen to have perscription!

And they just happen to be the have perscription that I have

I cannot see shit

And I refuse to wear my glasses

My parents also refuse to buy me contacts

But it was amazing!

And for only a dollar!

They even fit my teensy tiny head

I can see everything now!

Its pretty fuckin amazing

So in the end I had gotten another mood ring

At one of the thrift stores

Thrift stores have the most amazing jewerly

Especially the rings

But the rings were five bucks, Which is really good because theyre usually like 10 bucks

I just didnt want to spend like 30 bucks just on rings

I also got this clutch/mini purse/wallet thingy

And I love it!

Not just because it says Brisbane on it

It was also only 2 bucks

I also got a school bag

But thats not important

This side walk sale was actually waaayy better than the other one we went to

The other one sucked compared to this
